Hello friends, I'm Greg, borned on january 1975, I started DX'ing on 1994. For 20 years I was active on 11m, then I finally decided to pass my Ham exam & got it on august 2014. My Ham callsign is F4HJP. I'm mostly active on 10-12-15-17-20m SSB, but I'm also active time to time on other bands 40-80m with my mobile station with my Diamond SD-330.
I live in the south east part of France in the city of Saint-Etienne (Loire Department / 42). I'm working in a big supermarket closed from Saint-Etienne till more 21 years now.
I like DX'ing, I have worked 290 DXCC on 11m before 2014 & since 2014 I have worked more than 270 DXCC world wide mostly 10m-12-15-17-20m SSB, the most important for me is not the importance of the DXCC but the quality of the contact. I like also radio DX'ing because on this way of communication we don't meet any kind of discrimination, racism or intolerance between people.
My main hobby is DX'ing but I'm also collecting bank notes from every countris of the world, I have thousand ones in my personal collection. I also enjoy trekking, I like mountains & I'm very lucky as we have lot of nice places for trekking closed to my city. I'm also a big football fan, AS. Saint-Etienne is my football team, my father & my uncle were also big supporters so I went to staium since I'm young boy.

Since 1994, I used several transceivers, I started with Superstar 3900 HP and Santiago 1200 antenna, very simple mobile working conditions, but it works well. Then I got a Ranger 2950 & a Ranger 2970, about antennas, I bought an Antron 99 & a SY3, still be active as mobile station. Then I got the opportunity to put an antenna on the roof of my building (Antron 99) & bought an Icom IC-745. Then I changed also the mobile working conditions and bought a Yaesu FT-840 & 2 antennas HB9CV & Bamby Quad. On may 2011 I added my HB9CV on the roof of the building, I also bought a new transceiver an Icom IC 718 then I also bought a Yaesu FT-900. On 2017 I finally put a mosley beam on the roof for 10-15 & 20m bands & keep antron 99 for WARC bands.
